Roger comes to Bodyshop all the way from Venezuela where he was born and raised which gave him the opportunity to learn from some of the best players how to become one of the top catchers in his age group. He soon was offered the chance to come play in the U.S. at Cowley Junior College in Kansas. He would transfer shortly after to Cloud County Community College in Kansas. He would then transfer into Grambling State University in Louisiana to finish out his college career. After graduating from Grambling State, Diaz would get the opportunity to play pro ball for 2 years.

Diaz is now a full time member of the Lexington community as he gives catching & hitting lessons to all ages. He has become one of the best coaches around and even has his own business called Diaz Baseball Training. In his spare time you can find him hanging out on the beach with his wife Courtney.
